Backstory

Born to a ninja of Doma, his father and a female Viera near the Skatay Range.His parents met when his mother, Snave, a promising young guard decided to split off from her patrol to investigate a battle that took place. Mangled Garlean and Doman raised men filled the little clearing near the snowy mountains she called home. Searching around, strung by a morbid sense of curiosity as she tip toed around, until she found a man barely holding on. Seeing the state of the battlefield and the man in front of her, she knew she needed to act fast. Thinking quickly on her head and feet she brought the shinobi to an abandoned patrol house.Snave spent a year taking care of the Ninja- named Aster, learning about his culture and exchanging their life stories.
The two grew close then, one day, Snave left. Aster would come by hoping the two would reunite one day. He had returned to Doma but would come back to the house in hopes to see his companion once again.On the eve of the second year of Aster’s departure back to Doma from the little guard tower-shack, he heard muffled crying in his sleep, then a knock. His heart leaped and he raced to the door in hopes to see his beloved. At the door, he was greeted to a small, wicker basket with a baby in it. His heart swelled with heartbreak as he took the infant in. Snave had abandoned them both. The child mirrored the bright red hair he fell for however, the rest of the infant’s features mimicked his own. This was his own flesh and blood.Ryathei was raised into a shinobi lifestyle once the two returned for good back to Doma. Raised with a shut off heart due to his father’s own heartbrokenness. His heart reflects the icy, cold grounds his parents met on.This half-Viera now takes on odd commissions from his father or, from sharp eyed clients who are looking for a job dealt with quickly and efficiently.

So what now?

Found on the streets of Kugane, bleeding from a failed assassination attempt, the Veena found himself bleeding out in the alley ways. He was soon found by Valljan Ruu. He had so happened to be exploring the city with his fellow friends- looking passage to fish on the Ruby Route. He acted swiftly, taking care of the Veena before, Rya managed to slip away, promising to return the favour.The two met up the next day, the Veena wasn’t sure how to be friendly but, the Seeker was surprised to hear how cold and shut off they were emotionally. Grabbing Rya’s hand, he promised to make the Viera to smile and defrost his heart. The two became inseparable, the Shinobi’s fighting style complimenting with the rest of the group’s flair as they sought out missions, adventures, and companionship with one another. Of course, without his father’s awareness to where his son was spending his time with
Balancing a hidden social life and his contract work, Ryathei did a fair job at managing laying low under his father’s radar. In doing so, he had gained a better understanding of emotions and socialization. Unfortunately, this would be his vice later on- his father’s growing concern that his living weapon was- in fact, unbecoming of a cold, emotionless blade.
